Vietnam is okay. It's like, if you ask the older Vietnamese people here, they will say, "Vietnam is a place like a prison. You have no rights. It's a horrible place to live."
And they say "no freedom" or whatever. To me, it's not as good a place to live as America. But, you know, you can live there. It's not like hell or whatever.
But to them it's like a really terrible place. I think because they've been through the war, they see the ugly side of it. For me, I was born after the war, so I grew up in peacetime, so I don't have any negative view. Not big ones.
You talk to Vietnamese people over here, I think eighty percent of them will have that kind of perspective -- especially old people or people around my dad's age and up. Youngsters, we don't have any opinions. [laughs]
